Biographical Information:
Cary Hardy’s
practice focuses on estate planning, estate and gift taxation and trust and
estate administration. He also provides
legal advice to business clients of the firm and to clients involved in
residential real estate transactions.
Cary
taught estate and tax planning at the Summit Area
Community School
for over 20 years and has served as an instructor for the New Jersey Skills and
Methods course in wills and estates.
Cary’s current civic activities include Chair of
the National Board of Family Promise, Inc. (formerly National
Interfaith Hospitality Network, Inc.).
He also serves on the Board of the Summit Area Public Foundation as well
as the Planned Giving Committee of Overlook Hospital Foundation. He has also served on the Board of Trustees
of United Way of Summit, New Providence, Berkeley Heights (President), the
Summit Area Chamber of Commerce (past Chairman) and a member of the Board of
Summit Downtown, Inc., Overlook Hospital Foundation Board, New Jersey Center
for Visual Arts (Chairman); Chair of Christ Church Summit Executive Board; as well as many
of the church’s other boards; Friendship Ambassador’s Foundation (Chairman);
Family Service Association of Summit (Treasurer) and Summit Jaycees. Cary
has been recognized as a New Jersey Super
Lawyer in the editions for 2005 through 2013.
